In preparation for a party next week, my apprentices and I made cookies on a stick and decorated them!
The vanilla sables cookies were delicious! They had a lovely buttery taste and they weren't rock hard like some sugar cookies are. I baked them with a lolly stick inserted in the middle. Couldn't help but sample some even before decorating.... heehee
I made a small batch of royal icing, coloured it and then my apprentices and I had fun decorating them! 
Tadah! Is that cool or what? What fun gifts they will make!
