A Piece of Wedding Cake

  • Fitting the Tetrimino topper on the Cake
A Piece of Cake takes pains to create a wedding cake for your special occasion...This is not a catlogue for you to pick a product number for a cake order! It's more for you to see the previous work that the cake artist has done and to also feel the sense of joy and celebration that the cakes bring. Read the testimonials of the happy couples here too. Thanks for viewing!

Birthdays and Other Special Occasions

  • Decorated Cookies
You have found a baker with a wacky sense of humour and who relishes a creative idea. Here are some examples of pop cake art. (If your kids would love to have a hand in decorating their own birthday cake, contact me for more info! Kids at heart are welcome too!)

A Piece of Cheesecake

  • Peachy Freezy Berry Breezy
In my humble opinion, a beautifully decorated cheesecake says "I Love You" in ways few other things can. ;O) The 9" cheesecake is perfect for your intimate moments or smaller functions, just friends and family..

A Rollerblading Wedding!

  • Cake is Served!
My very dear friend Peishi gets married and I baked a cake for her and the kids got in on the action too! She was my first baking buddy when we were 13 yrs old, completely clue-less as to how to bake a cake. We had to spoon the cake we baked. Ah.... such wonderful memories of happy times together. Apologies for the poor photo quality. Blame it on our frantic rush out of the house with cake and kids, forgot the proper camera and had to rely on the iphone instead. :P

Sculpey Art!!!

  • Close up
At A Piece Of Cake, we can custom design and make cake toppers and other ornaments for your cake- a very special keepsake that will last for years to come. Our toppers are made of Sculpey, a highly versatile polymer clay that hardens when baked in the oven. Click 'ere to see a few of our Sculpey art projects!

Lovely cake! As usual, my dear, you have outdone yourself!!

wow, as usual, I love your work. Wish we could bring you stateside to do cakes here!!!

Hi Gwen! Humbly speaking, I would agree with you that I have "outdone myself". :O)

I have pushed myself further in the flower arrangement part for this cake. And new techniques like the lettering templates. :O) All glory to God.

dear dcorbett, thank you so much! You know I'd love to be there too. ;O) God bless you.

Great job, Suwei! I do so love the flower arrangement, and that's good penmanship :) Wish I could've been there to share the fun and the labour!

Thanks, Carol. Nil Sine Labore. :O)

Oh, what are the 50 words? Can't see them all. Did you manage to get a 360 degree video of the cake?

Whole cake is absolutely, unbelievably gorgeous!!! The flower cascade is just perfect!

PamelaK, thank you so much. I'm glad you like it! :O) Praise and glory to Him! :O)

Carol, thanks for asking! I've added them into the post. and haha... no, didn't take a video. I was so tired that day that many things slipped my mind..Like putting the blog's url sign, bringing the "service pack".. etc. sigh. really have to write it down in a list. :OP

Yes the cake was tasty, and perfect for my 'no carbo' diet (anything yummy contains no carbo to me...:P) Afterall it was loaded with vegetables (carrot)...haha:)

Yufeng, *nods wisely* oh yes, carrot cake falls under the vegetable category. Most Definitely.;O)

I'm glad you enjoyed the cake. :OD

Its interesting going through your site which had ,especially the time and the elements they consider while preparing the wedding cake. .A wedding cake is customarily served to guests following the wedding ceremony. It is traditionally large, and comes tiered or multi-layered.

Thanks, Bently, for dropping by! :O)

Adrian Koh

It was a lovely cake, I'm still having great memories of it. I'm still having great memories overall. Hah.

Wonderful stuff Sis. Suwei... I just wish I had longer to look at it :)

Hey Bro Adrian (the groom)! My pleasure.

Yup. That's the problem about wedding cakes. The groom doesn't have time to savour his own wedding cake and the bride, even less!

Well, I believe it is well documented in the photos. :O)Do pass me a couple of them so I can stick it up in the album here, ok?

Adrian Koh

Sure thing! I'll go get a few of them and email'em once I get home :)

Beautiful Cake .

I am an expat Indian lawyer here and will be having a hindu wedding ...but if ever..I were to have a White wedding like u guys ..I would have definitely gotten the cake to be done by you !

So much love and labour :)

Hi Esha, thanks so much for dropping a note! Yup, lots of love and lots of labour. ;O)
