A Rollerblading Wedding!

My very dear friend Peishi gets married and I baked a cake for her and the kids got in on the action too! She was my first baking buddy when we were 13 yrs old, completely clue-less as to how to bake a cake. We had to spoon the cake we baked. Ah.... such wonderful memories of happy times together. Apologies for the poor photo quality. Blame it on our frantic rush out of the house with cake and kids, forgot the proper camera and had to rely on the iphone instead. :P

Proud to be Singaporean! National Day Cupcakes 2009

I'm currently not taking any orders at the moment but thank you so much for viewing!!! :O)

Now, when I'm filling out "official" type forms that need me to write the name of my country/ city/ state many times (like white cards), I always wonder why oh why must I live in a country with such a long name? Why not Nepal? or India? Something short like that? I guess folks from Switzerland and Australia can empathize.

But when I was doing these National Day cupcakes for church this morning, I was super glad that our flag is sooooo easy peasy to do! :)
Like it's only got two colours and crescent moons and stars aren't all that difficult to pipe.
