Art teacher Agnes sms-es me. Shall we decorate cupcakes for lesson?
I reply, sure! I've got TONS of butter cream left over (from the Sheaf of Wheat cake.) :OP
So I did some searching on youtube and I showed the instructional video to everyone. I baked the cupcakes in the morning and then when Agnes came, we got down to some serious cupcake decorating fun!
No 1 putting the yellow butter cream in the piping bag.
No. 2 piping on a "snout" for the lion.
Jie Jie Agnes who paired up with no. 4, who was more interested in gobbling up the various decorations like m&m s and gummies. Good job with the lion! :O)
Showing off their lions! nice!
No. 2's monkey-turned-bear. heehee (actually, none of our monkeys turned out like monkeys, haha)
And this is how to erase mistakes. no. 3's idea: spider web
No 1's version of the spider web, complete with smiley m&m spider.
The Tiger! good job, Agnes!
Here's all their creations before we each ate one. (nono... not ate each one. We each ate one. :OP ) We ate the uglier ones and gave the nicer ones away. This time, it was papa's colleagues who got blessed by our little homeschool projects. :O) I'm sure it was a pleasant surprise after a long day's work!
Chow down! (Sugar high, I tell you.)
Agnes looks loads daintier. (Thankfully)
I like the cornflake lion's mane :)

Yes, sis Carol! It turned out pretty well, I think. They used something else in the video for the mane. :)
