We've been enjoying the baby, watching her grow and do new tricks. Last week, she started blowing saliva bubbles. It's amazing, she'll bring her saliva to the front of her mouth, purse her lips and blow! Sometimes it fountains everywhere and dribbles all over her chin and clothes. Sometimes it bubbles, which I think is her desired effect.
She's also started grabbing things to shove in her mouth. I had to teach no. 4 (3 yrs) about not giving mei mei little toys...even if she's "asking" for them. (no. 4 said she was asking for it.)
I also had a talk with no. 3 (the 5 yr old) about hand-eye co-ordination:
no. 3: mei mei can grab things and put in her mouth already.
mama: Yes! It's called hand-eye co-ordination. That's when a baby's hand and eyes co-operate with one another to get things done.
no. 3: no.... it's hand-eye-mouth co-ordination!
Well, who can argue with that?
