The Ong Family have been really enjoying learning whilst having fun this National Day week!
Our church family organized an activity called the Heritage Trail, where by families and groups compete against time and each other to get to certain check points around the Singapore River area, and take photos of themselves to prove they were there. :)
Papa did the Trail with the three older kids and they had fun, as you can see.
Isn't this a great way to learn about Singapore? Rather than from textbooks?
Every year I talk to them about how Raffles came to this region to find a good harbour... and all that. Maybe soon the younger ones will realize is wasn't last year that it happened. :OP Well, the Bible says:

In continuing with our National Day celebrations/ learning, tomorrow we'll be doing National flag cupcakes! Whee! Stay tuned....
