Praise God, the Wednesday wedding cake was successfully delivered, displayed and cut up and eaten. The short life span of my sugar craft. :)
It was my good friend Peishi's wedding. I had told her that I'd love to do her wedding cake when she gets married, so the opportunity finally arrived this year when they decided to tie the knot. It was my privilege, but I'm also very thankful for the full support of my hubby, and kids.
I'll not say too much about the cake here as I said a lot in a picture album over at my cake blog.
But I will say that actually there a whole team of people who joined brains and hands to do this cake successfully: sis Carol who custom made the toppers, to hubby who got the toppers to rotate like they were skating around, no. 1 who sent like six bags of carrots through the food processor, no. 3 who also helped to measure out raisins and walnuts and chop them, my sister and my niece also came in the afternoon and they did the flowers and yellow centers, my mom who entertained the baby for me...
I really cannot do this again. Too crazy already. Well, maybe not until baby is more independent. :P
Go see the album!
Oh yah... I call it the Rollerblading Wedding. :)
I Love my Kids!!! :) God's blessings to me.
