This week, I was hit by an itchy bug and decided I really wanted to sell some cookies. So my dear hubby (reluctantly) peddled our cookies at the place he works. Haha!
The kids were so eager to help (and earn some money.) :) I talk to them about this sometimes, you know, about taking on jobs at home and earn some money. No. 1 stayed up with me till midnight for some last minute baking and so he earned $10. No. 2 also earned some money for helping me with some packing of the cookies. I'm really glad that they are excited about this kind of endeavour... being gainfully employed. :)
I had to concentrate so as not to mis-spell any names. (Yeah, I did a custom message cookie sale.)
But this is one of the samples I made. I love this the most. :)
I did the piping coz I can't trust the kid's piping skills yet. But they're practicing and one day, they'll do a great job!

We're being a little Schitzo this year with Chinese New Year and Valentine's happening on the same day....
